What is A-spec April?A-spec April is a readathon hosted by Jellyfable with the goal of celebrating and spreading the world about great literature featuring Asexual and Aromantic characters. It takes place over the course of two weeks and is hosted primarily on the A-Spec April Twitter page.

When does it take place?The event runs April 1-14 but there will be plenty of things happening on the Twitter page leading up to those dates, so be sure to follow now! April 1-7 will be focused on reading Asexual books and April 8-14 will be focused on reading Aromantic books. Books focused on AroAce characters can be read during either week!

What is happening during the event?We have lot of things planned for the readathon! A full schedule will be available soon, but in the meantime, here's a sneak peak at what's going to be happening...

How can I participate?Follow the A-spec April Twitter account and start getting hyped for the readathon! Everyone can participate, regardless of if you identify as a-spec. Please share your TBRs with us using the #AspecApril hashtag and let us know what you are planning to read for each of the challenges.

Can I contribute to the event?Yes! If you are a-spec, we would love to have you contribute a blog post or a video to the event. We are also always looking for help running Twitter sprints.
